Advances in BGP
It is traditionally assumed that BGP is a slow converging protocol, focused purely upon scalability and stability. However, significant improvements to BGP technology have been made that can make BGP converge nearly as fast as any IGP. Being aware of, and using these enhancements can make any network more robust and better performing. This session will discuss the key improvements to BGP for both IPv4 and IPv6 to increase scalability and performance, and will provide technical insight upon few up-coming features (GSHUT, DDoS Mitigation, Secure origin BGP, etc...) .
